    Structural Inspections

We perform a detailed structural inspection of every home.

When it comes to the safety and stability of your building, structural integrity is key. That’s why a structural inspection is important to identify potential issues and ensure the long-term viability of your property. At AccuCheck, we specialize in providing comprehensive structural inspections for commercial, residential, and industrial properties.

During the structural portion of our home inspections, we thoroughly examine several key components of the property. These include the foundation, floors, walls, columns, piers, ceilings, roof structure, and attic. Additionally, we are vigilant in identifying any signs of abnormal or harmful water penetration or condensation on building components.

Our inspection reports provide you with detailed information regarding the type of foundation, such as Masonry Block, Brick, Rock, Poured Concrete, and more. We also report on the materials used for the columns and piers, which may include wood, concrete, brick, masonry block, steel columns, and/or steel jacks. In addition, we provide a comprehensive report on the roof type and condition.

    • We report the type of foundation: Masonry Block, Brick, Rock, Poured Concrete, etc.
    • We report what the Columns and Piers were made of: wood, concrete, brick, masonry block, steel columns, and/or steel jacks.
    • We report the roof type and condition

    What is a structural inspection?

A structural inspection is a comprehensive assessment of a building’s structural integrity. Our team will thoroughly inspect the foundation, whether it’s a slab or pier and beam foundation. We’ll also examine the interior and exterior walls, as well as the roof system, to ensure everything is functioning as it should be.

    What are possible structural issues?

There are a number of potential structural issues that we may encounter during an inspection. These could include problems like sagging roof systems, lack of gutters, improper yard grading, cracks or sagging in the main beams and girders, differential displacement or cracking in foundation walls, termite infestation or damage, water and moisture penetration through foundation walls, and the risk of a tree’s root system being too close to the foundation. At our company, we take pride in our ability to identify and address any potential structural concerns to ensure the safety and stability of your building.

Jeff is an experienced professional who came highly recommended. He was very thorough during the inspection and was able to identify several issues in the house, that we will in turn submit to seller for repair or credit. Additionally he answered all our questions and made great suggestions. Since we were first time homebuyers, offered maintenance recommendations. He prepared a timely, well-organized report. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable and comes with our highest recommendations!
